Lavender, Gold and Lace Wedding at Esperanza Resort: Nikki & Chris

This past weekend was a dream come true, not only to our bride and groom, Nikki and Chris, but to me and Karla Casillas team as well! When designing the wedding theme for our Cabo San Lucas destination wedding, I played with lavender, gold and lace – Nikki and Chris’s favorite colors – to create an elegant wedding setup and decor. When we finished with the setup on Wednesday, I realized it was even more beautiful than I imagined. Matched with a spectacular setting of Esperanza Resort, with endless blue views of the Sea of Cortéz, we couldn’t have wished for a more perfect wedding location.

This post is just a preview of Nikki and Chris’s wedding decor and setup, I look forward to the official wedding photographs by Ja Tecson, and will give you an update then.

From NYC to Cabo San Lucas with Love: Pia & Reggie

It was such a pleasure working with our now newlyweds Pia and Reggie! First of all, I loved working with them because of their beautiful love and passion to live and love together until the end of days. Secondly, I love New York, and working with New Yorkers was so much fun and inspirational for me on so many levels. New York and Cabo San Lucas live in two different cultures, in different time paces, but still, we are only couple of hours away by plane, and share the same passion for beauty, luxury, wonderful experiences, great food – and friendly people!

Pia and Reggie imagined their Cabo San Lucas wedding in an environment that would have the feel of resort environment but still show the essence of Cabo. So we decided to organize their wedding at a beautiful private Villa in luxury residential community Cabo del Sol.

The wedding day could not be more perfect. The sun was shining, and Pia and Reggie united their love in front of their families and friends in beautiful Cabo San Lucas.

After the wedding, I received this email from Pia, which made me smile and cry of happiness at the same time:

I miss you guys already! I wish we could do it again. Maybe we can move to Cabo and I can come work for you

You and your group did a phenomenal job on the wedding. I was concerned about having a destination wedding at first because I am a very hands on person (as if you didn’t know) and it’s hard for me to give up control. But, our regular calls and emails made me feel a lot better and I liked being kept in the loop. You executed my vision wonderfully and everything exceeded my expectations. All of the vendors were wonderful and I can’t wait to see the pictures from Daniel and the video. I have gotten many compliments from my friends and family who attended the wedding. I also shared a few pictures with people at work and they thought everything looked amazing. It was truly the best day of my life and I was able to live in the moment and enjoy every single minute.
